OTFC Mission Statement
International Occupational
Therapists for Christ Statement of Faith
The Triune God
We believe there is only one God that exists eternally in three
persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, creator of heaven and earth,
changeless, loving, holy, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.
God the Son
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, virgin born,
sinless in His life, who suffered and died on the Cross for the sins
of mankind. We believe in His resurrection from the dead, ascension
into heaven and that He intercedes for us at the right hand of the
Father until He visibly returns again in glory.
God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and the Son to
convict the world of sin, and to comfort the believer in Christ. We
believe He regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers and teaches
those who believe in Jesus Christ.
The Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God, written
by men divinely inspired. It has the supreme authority in matters of
faith and conduct.
Man and Sin
We believe that through the fall of Adam and Eve, man has
inherited a sinful nature and that all have sinned and fallen short of
the glory of God.
Salvation
We believe that through God's grace, Jesus Christ willingly laid
down His life for sinners. Only those who repent and confess Jesus as
Lord and Savior of their life, will be forgiven and saved to inherit
eternal life.
The Christian Life
We believe that all who open their hearts to Jesus Christ are
called to a changed life. We are called to holiness, obedience and the
mission of spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to
all mankind.
Future Things
We believe Christ will receive His church unto Himself and return
to earth to reign. We believe in the resurrection of the saved into
eternal bliss and the resurrection of the lost into eternal torment.
We believe in creation of a new heaven and earth where God will dwell
with His own forever.
Our Mission
We believe it is our duty to love and serve others, demonstrate
Jesus Christ through our lifestyle, profession, actions and words. It
is our duty to uphold these Christian values in our home, workplace,
church and community.
